Me being a very spiritual person my art reflects my spirituality telling stories of a time in the past that we only read about or see in artifacts left Behind from the Ancients. I am from Antigua a Island in the Caribbean that I personally sometimes refer to as Ancient because Antigua translated from Spanish to English means Ancient. The style of my Artwork is simple meant to resemble African folk art, and with its bright colors and patterns give it a tropical feel to it. Many of my paintings may have the presence of Eyes in them. The Eyes symbolize the spiritual beings who watch over us daily. I feel I would stand out as an artist because my style is unique and different, I have never see anyone’s artwork who looks close to mine.

The term Ancient state of mind refers to the state of mind that the ancients had. To civilizations like the egyptians there spiritual elivation was the most important goal in life. Sometimes i Even refer to my paintings as scriptures because of the stories that they tell or the meaning behind them.
